Algebraic

Okay, I have a lot to say and everything I just typed up and posted in the past half hour randomly got deleted or whatever the fuck...so here's the break down.

PERSONAL LIFE: Essentially caught up in school. No more working on assignments that are past-due or late. I have homework from this past Monday through Thursday to work on, something I think I can cope with. Still been a little sickly, but mostly from lack of sleep. Trying to touch base with my teachers, resolve everything. Financial crisis's are being dealt with. Issues with former close old friends are being ignored, because I don't need that stress and am sick of being the adult. Got a new job. Quit the old job.

PAX EAST: So, I went to PAX this past weekend, it was fun, but not as fun as it could have been. I wanted to goto game development and concept art panels, but my friends and boyfriend were too preoccupied trolling around the convention drinking and dancing. Don't get me wrong, it was fun, but a little off course for me. I also was still tackling stress from issues yet to be completely resolved. In the future I'm making a point to hit up panels I need/want to go see, regardless if it's alone or with another group. On a side note... For the convention I stayed up two nights straight working on sewing two backpacks and two hats from Adventure Time  for my friend Stephen (as Finn) and I (as Fiona) to cosplay. I don't have images at the moment, but in one of my future posts I'll be sure to include them for each costume. I'm also supposed to cosplay for Anime Boston as Veronica from Fallout New Vegas and as scout from TF2 per requests of a couple friends... not sure if that'll happens, but I'll be reusing Fiona regardless, 'cause she's the tops.

ART: Unfortunately I haven't had time to work on personal work so much as just do homework, homework, homework and oh, more homework. My plan is to do even more homework... then sketch out some ideas, do some studies, do some more homework, then probably die. All I want to do is play the vidya games, damnet. PLEASE give me some crity and suggestions. I would highly appreciate it :3

Sketches of Cagney being a jerk.

AND JUNK: So, I love movies. I love books. You can expect to see brief comments on what I've watched and read... So, I watched "Everything is Illuminated". I read the book too. The movie was alright, pretty good. The book was trash. It was strung together with simple, puerile cliches, themes and motifs. Some sections of the book make absolutely no sense... there's no reason for it to be in the book other than for the author trying REALLY hard to be deep and edgy. The story itself is narrated through: 1. Letters between the two protagonists 2. The story of their very rigid search that the protagonists are writing and editing together. 3. Jonathan's ancestors' story and history, also included in the book the characters are writing. The movie was based off a combination of the letters and the story of their search--by far the better instances of the book. I wouldn't suggest the book to anyone unless they were looking to be disappointed.

I've also been reading War of the Worlds, which has generally been pretty good. Then I lost it somewhere during PAX weekend. I'm hoping it's in my boyfriend's car lol Otherwise, OOPS. Started Post Office by Bukowski this morning and am already half way through with it. Very good, he's always a favorite.

Seriously, I hate T-mobile.

There are few things more annoying than when your phone has a technical issue... unless of course it has happened repeatedly with the same phone model (but with different phones) that your carrier provider keeps sending you as replacements. I have just received my seventh G1 from T-mobile. Sure, the first phone lasted several months, but after that one broke nothing lasted for more than  a couple months at a time. The past three months I've had three different G1s--twice I received already broken phones. Because of this I'm having issues correcting insurance/hospital bills that were filed incorrectly, finding a replacement job, taking care of credit, friends ships, paperwork from school (fafsa, taxes, etc.) because I can't get a hold of people who need to forward me documents and information. Paperwork really, REALLY stresses me out. The worst part of it is that my stress is really taxing on my relationship with my boyfriend and then my school work and art all together. It's the poops. Things are almost under control. Almost.

There's been lots of homework and so little sleep. Almost caught up, maybe, probably, hopefully. Looking forward to spring break (rest and time).

Oops, definitely meant to post ALL THAT a couple nights ago. I'll do another update that is posted when it's made instead soon lol. Hey, I am good at this.
